12:18 am - When I was a kid I thought, I wanted all the things that I haven't got
It's been awhile since I've update. I'm leaving for Norfolk, Va in a couple hours. Me and Adam are going to hang out there and skip school. And sometime tonight we are supposed to go see Green Day and My Chemical Romance. It's going to be badass.

I didn't go to school today since I wasn't feeling all that well. It was great to get away for school. SOOooo it's only been a 2-day school week for me. Overall school has been fine. Accounting is easy but boring as usual. Ryan and Christine give me a good laugh so it's all good. History is too simple in a way I wish I didn't drop AP History. Mrs. Hannah's class is so boring but I've been getting better grades in her class than Mrs. Smitheys class. And finally Mrs. Sparks should die and I should get an Alg 2 teacher that can teach. I've also noticed I've met a lot of freshmen this year and a lot don't know me as Taco nor Chris. Just Keeanu. WTF. Anyways they are all nice but a little loud, expecially Hannah Barker. Oh well.

Tuesday I was reunited with my "posse." It was great seeing them again. I gotta talk to Maureen though about hanging out with her Sunday and rarely see her since she goes to Catholic. So I'm prob going to call her once I get back Saturday.

Next Thurs - Beach Boys - Looking forward to that!

I'm out.

7:51 pm - Dance Party!
Hmm... the show last night was really fun. So last night only Powersnake showed up. They didn't start till 8 but that was cool. I just talked with Chris and his friends. Then Michael showed up. He's now going out with Joy Fisher, I haven't seen her since the old days back in 4th grade. There was talk about even an Arson cover band named Arsonists or Barson, haha.
So Powersnake started. They really get the crowd into their music, which is awesome I think Dan does to which maybe why Arson was good at thatshow at the pool. Anyways Powersnake end with the encore of "Touch the Power." The crowd want more so they get people from the audience to play and then Joesph from the Royal Bangs play. Finally there was a Quickshot reunion and it basically ended with people in the back chanting "Oh my God, blow my wad." Back to the summer intership application, later.

P.S. I quit Celebration Station, I need a new job if anyone has idea that would be great.

8:52 pm - Who Knew You Could be Sued For Something So Little or Big?
Mom uses eBay to help fight school potty policy
By ERICKA MELLON
mellone@knews.com
February 5, 2005

The mother of a Farragut High School freshman is seeking donations on eBay for an attorney after her daughter was not permitted to leave English class to go to the bathroom.

Christin Disler's daughter, Ashley Johnson, was given three detentions in mid-December, following a verbal spat with a teacher. Now, Disler wants visitors to the popular online auction site to donate $5 each so she can battle Knox County school officials in court.

Disler and school officials agree that teacher Stephanie Rasmussen denied Johnson's multiple requests to use the rest room one day and that Johnson finally left class anyway. But they disagree about whether the student "created a scene," as Rasmussen indicated on the official misconduct report given to the News Sentinel by Disler.

"Ashley created a scene in class today by insisting that I let her leave for the bathroom," Rasmussen wrote about the Dec. 14 incident. "My answer was no (multiple times) and each time she became more insistent and disrespectful.

"I told her not to leave and that I would have to write this. She said 'Go ahead' and walked out at 3:18."

Disler said her daughter could not wait any longer.

"People can't control when they have to go," she said.

In response, Farragut Assistant Principal Mike Carroll handed Johnson three detentions, which he later cut to two, she said. But Disler told her daughter to ignore the reprimand.

"She has the right to go to the bathroom. She doesn't deserve punishment for it," Disler said. "I refuse to let her serve detention."

That refusal earned Johnson a harsher one-day suspension.

Knox County Schools spokesman Russ Oaks said federal privacy law prevents him from commenting on the specifics of the situation.

But he would say: "We feel that appropriate action was taken in this case. We have never had a complaint against the teacher, and her performance is exemplary."

Disler said school administrators have fed her similar lines, and that's why she has taken her case to eBay, under the sales category of "slightly unusual."

On the Web site, Disler details the saga, including e-mail responses from school officials and messages sent to the governor, a state senator, the mayor of Farragut and others.

"Here is the sad story of a high school student who has lost her voice," the site says. "The school, school board, and others in office seem unwilling to investigate this matter and do what is right."

Criticizing the "hands off" approach of educators, Disler posted an e-mail response from the general counsel of the State Board of Education.

"Tennessee law gives local education agencies authority to establish and enforce student disciplinary policies," Rich Haglund wrote. "I see that you have already contacted the director of schools, Dr. (Charles) Lindsey. You should work with him and the principal to resolve concerns over the disciplinary action your daughter was subject to."

Disler did submit a formal complaint to the school system Jan. 7, asking that her daughter's suspension be lifted and that officials more fully investigate the matter.

Three weeks later, she received a written response from Ed Hedgepeth, director of secondary education.

After talking with Rasmussen, Principal Mike Reynolds and Carroll, Hedgepeth wrote, "it is my opinion that the incident was handled within the procedural guidelines."

Disler disagrees. And if people can sell hurricane wind and gum chewed by Brad Pitt on eBay, why can't she ask for donations for an attorney and tell her story at the same time?

Although she has received commitments of only $10 so far, Disler said she has gotten about 15 e-mails and instant messages from supporters.

The page, however, has been viewed at least 650 times since Disler posted it Jan. 29, and she hopes even a few of those visitors took advantage of the e-mail addresses of school and government officials that she posted.

"I guess the whole thing on eBay is my last-ditch effort," Disler said.

She admits she has gone a little "crazy," even writing President Bush about her troubles.

But, she asked, "What kind of mother am I if I start this battle and don't finish it? To me, it's about teaching kids that they have a voice and they have rights."

12:02 am - At Last We Will Have Our Revenge
Well today I go and read some new on Star Wars Episode III. The title of the movie has finally been revealed. Its called Revenge of the Sith. Interesting. I was reading about it and how originally Return of the Jedi was going to be called Revenge of the Jedi. O well I like the title, though right even after I saw Attack of the Clones I was like Episode III will be called Revenge of the Sith. O well looking forward to May 19, 2005.

12:19 am - Hmm poetry.
Hmm ok I just really want to know what people think of my poetry. People say my poetry is good. So I want honest opinions. Please leave comment on what you think. Hmm I'll call this a sappy Iwant you poem. YOu don't have to read it but if you do please leave a comment. Ireally must know if people are tellingthe truth if I'm good or not. HONEST OPINIONS

Our love is turning into a sway
I sing this lovely tune to play
I want to see you as I slowly drown
I can hardly see a pretty face, only a frown
I’m losing control pull me out
I’m indecisive and full of doubt
I want to look you in the eye
And believe you with no lie
How can I let my words touch your lips
They tumble out and watch you flip
With spite towards my feelings
I want to make it right, but how, I feel the blues
Maybe it’s only a depressing muse
When I hear from you my heart beats faster
But I feel judged with responses full of laughter
One stroke towards you for my affection
One stroke to us, our love, heal the infection
A picture I drew of you out of love today
I moaned "I need you always" as I painfully lay
Relieve myself of this distressful pain
Believe me, I’m living under this lonely rain
Maybe I will leave without a trace?
I want to say "Ilove you" to your face
All I want is you, your eyes have locked me in place
All I want is you, and I won’t leave this feeling place
And your honor, I've reached a reputable verdict
I want to be dreaming of her picture perfect
